How much does a Bear Goldsmithing engagement ring cost?

Every ring is different, and pricing depends on the design, materials, and stone you choose. The best way to get a sense of pricing for your specific vision is to book a consultation — there's no commitment, and Alex will give you an honest, transparent quote.

How long does it take?

Typically 4–6 weeks from design approval to delivery. If you have a specific date in mind — a proposal trip, a birthday, an anniversary — let Alex know at the start and he'll work backwards from there.

Can I be involved in the design process?

Absolutely — that's the whole point. Alex will share sketches and 3D renders for your feedback, and nothing is finalised until you're completely happy with it. Some clients know exactly what they want; others discover it through the process. Both are welcome.

Do you work with lab-grown diamonds?

Yes. Alex works with both natural and lab-grown diamonds, as well as coloured gemstones. The consultation is a good time to discuss the difference and decide what's right for you.

Can I bring in a stone I already have?

Yes — and it's one of Alex's favourite things to do. If you have an heirloom diamond or a stone from a piece of family jewellery, he can design and build a new ring around it. Bring it to your consultation.

What if I'm not in Toronto?

Virtual consultations work beautifully. Many of Alex's clients come from outside Toronto — the design process works just as well over video, and finished pieces are shipped securely Canada-wide.
